The Chapel at NTC in Pt. Loma is such a hidden gem! Thank you to Events Manager Rebecca Duckworth at NTC events for the great tour yesterday!

Lovely, understated and elegant, this nondenominational chapel will suit any ceremony

The beautiful simple interior of deep woods and stained-glass window offers a perfect tranquil setting for any ceremony.

This location is open to all faiths and is available to everyone. Bring your own officiant or minister, music, etc. (If you would like organ music they do require that you hire their professional organist.)

It’s a lovely blank slate for any wedding.

And, ladies, you will love the HUGE and beautifully appointed getting-ready room. The guys have a great hang-out spot as well – there is plenty of comfortable space for all your family and wedding party to gather before the ceremony starts.

Additional unique ceremony sites at NTC include the beautiful Rose Garden and the gorgeous Courtyard with views of the fountain.

One of the most beautiful spots for a wedding ceremony is offered by Candelas on Coronado. Toes in the sand, lapping waves and a backdrop of America’s Finest City – downtown San Diego.

Even better was officiating the wedding ceremony for Jen and Jon on October 5. What a sweet couple!!

“Jon and I cannot thank you enough for officiating our wedding. The ceremony was so beautiful because of you. We will always remember your kind words and how comfortable you made us feel on a day when we were already excited and anxious. Thank you for helping us personalize our ceremony. It was perfect and we loved it. Thank you! Jen & Jon”

Always impressive photography by Philip DeFalco.

The couple borrowed from her family’s love of the ocean and sailing. For their unity ceremony they “tied the knot”.

Just Married! Jon and Jen really played up their oceanfront ceremony, with starfish hanging from the arch.

Kate and Duncan held their wedding ceremony and celebration Sept. 29 at one of my absolute favorite venues for a wedding – San Diego Botanical Gardens (formerly known as Quail Gardens) in Encinitas.

Just Married!

It was a pleasure to work with Kate and Duncan in planning their wedding. Kate had such a clear and thorough vision, and Duncan was happy to see Kate happy! What a great duo.

“We wanted to thank you again for making our wedding so incredibly
special! It was a dream come true, and it would not have come together
without your professionalism, support, and patience. All our friends
and family complimented us on how magical everything was, and we owe so much of that to you. .”– Kate & Duncan

These gorgeous manzanita branches served to display the placecard “leaves” as table assignments for the guests.

The Gardens offer such a magical environment, and string market lights as well as an abundance of votive candles and twinkly lights complete the fairyland vision.

With the groom’s scottish background it was a perfect touch to have a bagpiper play after the ceremony and lead the guests through the gardens and down to the cocktail hour!

Good Time Photo Booth added some fun during the cocktail hour and at the reception

Kate’s unique touches such as burlap table runners, wooden chalkboard station menus, and mason jars wove together a complete vision of rustic whimsy.
