Forget Happy Hour –  kick it up about a thousand notches at the Chocolate Buffet!!  What!?

Yes, it’s true. I almost crashed my car when I saw the sign in the window of Mille Feuille announcing the Chocolate Buffet. A full selection of delectable chocolate treats and pastries available Friday and Saturday nights. What a great treat for your bridesmaids.

Or for a daytime outing try the Afternoon Tea.

This couple loved animals!  And what a great alternative to the standard table number in a metal stand: whatever your theme, or favorite things – a photo in a frame is a fun way to assign seating arrangements. How fun to be a wedding guest and discover you’re sitting with the lions . . .

This ain’t just any cupcake. It definitely deserves the word Heavenly. As Event Chair for The Special Event Starts Here! I made numerous trips to Stingaree, the event venue, for site visits, décor and layout or catering consultations.

Every single time, I walked right by Heavenly Cupcake, which happens to be right across the street on Sixth Ave. in downtown San Diego. I finally broke down and crossed the threshold into heaven. I tried the traditional Vanilla Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. Sigh.  And they have minis, too!

A great idea for wedding favors and as takeaways for a going away treat at the end of your wedding reception. You might even consider a cupcake wedding cake! Yum.
