Acupuncture for brides.
Kathleen Noonan, L.Ac., offers some great acupuncture sessions for brides to be!
I thought this was a cool idea and wanted to check it out for myself. This was the first time I’ve experienced acupuncture and didn’t know what to expect.
After the initial consultation, I lay down on a massage-type table in comfortable clothing (like what you would wear to a yoga class). Kathleen proceeded to take little needles (new, in their own prewrapped packaging) and pop them into my skin at various points throughout my body: head, belly, feet, hands. I mostly felt almost nothing or maybe a tiny prick that immediately went away. 
She put them all along my ear as well, describing the ear as a little upsidedown fetus that acts as a map of the body.
I then lay on the table for about 20 minutes, after which she removed the needles. I felt calm and peaceful and had the feeling that ‘everything is connected.’
Kathleen has an awesome bedside manner and her easygoing nature made the whole experience a breeze.
